Welcome to Caunton Dean Hole C of E Primary School, a "Good and Happy School"
We are a small and beautiful school set in the picturesque village of Caunton, new Newark. We have busy classrooms for infants and juniors and take pupils from their third birthday until the end of Year 6 (11 years of age).
Caunton has had a village school for over 150 years. The school takes its name from the eminent Victorian cleric, Dean Hole, whose fame as a rose grower was only matched by his involvement and participation in the early days of our school.
We are really lucky to have access to large fields, neighbouring tennis courts and a new outdoor learning facility, all enabling our children to develop their love of learning in a stunning environment. We enjoy strong links with the village, who help our children bring their learning into the real world. Our pupils love to help one another while we all work together to make a warm, tight-knit community.
We hope that you enjoy browsing our website. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.
