Visions and Values

Our School Vision

A good and happy school, rooted, growing and flourishing together with God.

(Rooted in Colossians 2:6-7 - Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your life be built upon Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.)

Our School Values

Our vision is underpinned by the following six values:

Respect - We aim for all children to respect themselves, others and their communities, and take pride in all that they do.

Treat people in the same way that you want them to treat you. (Luke 6:31)

Kindness - We aim for all children to understand what it means to be kind and show kindness and compassion to others.

Be kind, compassionate and forgiving of each other, in the same way God forgave you in Christ. (Ephesians 4:25)

Honesty - We aim for all children to understand the importance of honesty, using the language of making good and bad choices.

Each of you must tell the truth to your neighbour because we are part of each other in the same body. (Ephesians 4:25)

Forgiveness - We aim for all children to understand what it means to forgive and be forgiven.

If you forgive others their sins your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14)

Responsibility - We aim for all children to understand and show what it means to be responsible, becoming independent and role models to others by doing the right things even when no one else is looking. 

Whatever you do, do it from the heart for the Lord and not for people. (Colossians 3:23)

Perseverance - We aim for all children to understand the benefits of perseverance in all of their endeavors. This links to mindfulness and maintaining a positive attitude when we are faced with difficulties.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial. (James 1:2)

Belonging Together

In our church, we sing and pray,

Belonging means we're here to stay.

Together, we feel love so bright,

Sharing joy in morning light.

At school, we're part of something grand,

A team of friends who understand.

Opportunity in every class,

Helping each of us to pass.

We grow with every lesson learned,

With curiosity that’s always turned.

Enterprise in projects we make,

Ideas blooming when we're awake.

Trust is built with every game,

Honesty is our middle name.

We aim for excellence, doing our best,

Respecting others, we feel blessed.

In church, we find our cozy place,

With warmth and kindness, a sweet embrace.

At school, we learn and play,

Growing better every day.

Belonging means we're not alone,

In church and school, we've found our home.

Together, we reach for the sky,

With hearts so full, we soar and fly.
